Google+ launches the first ATL campaign

United Kingdom - Google launches its first big ATL campaign for Google+ to increase the number of active users. Under the title "That's the Plus," it demonstrates the advantages compared to its competitors Facebook and Twitter.

The campaign highlights features such as Hangouts group video chat or Circles, which allows people to filter others by what they have in common. It tells a story about life, parenthood and ageing in order to connect the social network with the real life of its users. Google hopes to persuade inactive users who have set up an account on the Beta version of Google+ already last summer to return and begin to use the network actively.
