How to create an effective sales webpage?

Every business need a quality website because nobody can be available 24 hours a day. Matthew Goldfarb covered the issue of how to transform the advantages and qualities of active sales in the form of a passive online offer in his article for the EyesOnSales server.

According to the author, the single most important requirement is that the text of the website should efficiently anticipate and answer the questions and demands of the visitors. That is why it is important to first, above all, determine the target audience of your website. It is also necessary to realize that two people that demand the same product but that are from different demographic or social groups require significantly different sales strategies.

Solve problems

Similarly to active sales, even online it is advisable to focus chiefly on what problems is your product able to solve. Apply the "show, don't tell" rule, meaning that instead of tedious and minute explanation you should show the advantages of the product on a specific example of a satisfied customer whose life has been changed for the better after the purchase of your product.

Connected to the above mentioned pieces of advice is a rule that says that the customer is interested in the result, not in the process. Do not lose time by explaining how your product works and how your service is organized. You are paid by your client to provide a solution to a problem – he or she does not need to (and does not want to) know how you are going to do it. It is your task to have the sufficient know-how.
