What should you do when a prospect says „I want to think it over“

This is a frequent way a prospect rejects the salesperson's offer without saying it openly. Saying they need to think about the proposal is a sign to many business people that the deal isn't going to happen, and they consequently resign themselves to it. What's the best thing to do when the prospect says this at the end of a meeting?
